My TSA Journey
I am still a bit newer to competing in TSA, but I have done promotional design and contributed to video game design and structural design.
During this time, I’ve realized that I thrive in projects that require heavier documentation. Promotional Design helped me learn the importance of graphic design, alongside ways to capture an audience with visuals.
Due to promotional design being a one-person competition, it felt a bit surreal assisting with group competitions.
Participating in video game design and structural design showed me the importance of communication and teamwork. Those competitions showed me how meticulous you need to be to succeed, and it revealed to me how much planning may be needed to fulfill a criteria fully.
Overall, the competitions that I have participated in helped me realize that I am pedantic with documentation, eager to learn, and always ready to improve.
Financial backing would not only enable me to participate in the conference, but it would be a chance to invest in a young person who is interested in developing her technical skills and soft skills, which will be needed in a world that is becoming more technology-oriented by the day.
