Campaign Story
* Typical cost of capstone projects (including registrations, travel and supplies) is about $1200.
* I am trying to raise $600 as family and school will cover the rest.
Goals for My Fundraiser:
Supporting my capstone project
*** I plan to pursue the project though participation in TSA activities like competitions and community service. ***
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that helps students explore STEM through hands-on projects, competitions, and leadership opportunities.
What is ‘Interpersonal Connectivity Startup’
Launch an entrepreneurial venture that uses a digital platform to foster stronger family relationships by connecting families with resources, mentorship, and community networking opportunities.

Why I am pursuing this project (My why)
- I am a ‘Engager’ personality type person with strong ‘entrepreneurship’ business potential.
- I’m super into sports and I’m really good at helping people connect, so I thought, why not use those skills to help families get along better? So, I decided to work on a project as a family therapist. My goal is to make families stronger and happier, and hopefully, that can lead to better teamwork at home and at work..
My plan of action: Competitions and Activities
Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) to join:
TSA – Technology Student Association offers leadership opportunities through tech projects and competitions that support innovative, entrepreneurial ventures, making it an essential fit for the student’s pathway.
FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America focuses on developing business skills, public speaking, and entrepreneurship, directly aligning with the student’s strengths and project goals.
Competitions
FBLA – Personal Finance
This introductory competition builds foundational financial literacy and business management skills essential for budget planning and sustainable startup operations.
Community Service:
Digital Connectivity Initiative
Why it fits: This activity reinforces the startup’s focus on interpersonal connectivity by improving digital literacy and bridging the digital divide in the local community.
Implementation: Organize hands-on workshops and training sessions in zip code 30058 at community centers and libraries, collaborating with local tech experts to provide practical digital skills and connectivity solutions.
Skills Development: Community outreach, digital literacy, event planning, instructional skills
